Phoebe Bridgers Wiki

"I felt so understood. We had the same musical vocabulary. It was easy to just go into the room and do the bits based more or less on how I actually sound in a room. Everyone else I worked with up until that pint was like: ‘Yeah, you’re pretty good, but you’re not good enough. We’ve gotta figure out some kind of way that you’re not too weird,’ Phoebe was the first person that made me feel like I didn’t have to do anything other than go into the room and play the song." ― Hutson on his relationship with Phoebe Bridgers[1]
